                        PINK MOVIE REVIEW


          Pink is a movie directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhary. The mega star Amitabh Bachhan have acted as a retired lawyer Deepak Sehgal in this film.Tapsee Pannu as Meenal, Kriti Kulhari as Falak Ali,Andrea and Angad Bedi as Rajeev.It tells a story that after being molested, Minal along with her friends tries to file an FIR against a politician's nephew Rajeev. When the subsequent case gets rigged, Deepak helps them to fight the case. In this film Amitabh gives a very POWERFUL MESSAGE which is unmissable. Pink is about the mindset which looks at independent women capable of making the same choices as independent men, as 'loose' or 'characterless.
               Basically Pink is a courtroom drama which puts the collective identity of single working women in India and the presumptions our society has towards them. I liked the way the film makes a question for all of us that 'Why rape cases are so high in our country ?' and 'Why the rules for girls and boys are so different?' One could hate it who still believes that men are superior to women, who believes that women are supposed to live their lives according to a defined set of rules which have been passed on to us through generations, one who still believes that there is a hidden 'yes' behind a girl's 'no'.
              Well this a very fabulous movie which can create a positive mindset of people towards girls and encourage them to help women in their development of self respect.
