      ‘Silence speaks more than words’ MGM: Speech by Shivdarshan Kadam. Aurangabad: A speech of a writer, director and lyricist Mr. Shivdarshan Kadam was arranged in conference hall of Mgm college of Journalism and Mass communication. He discussed about the Film Festival which is going to be held in Prozone mall from 18-21 January.                 He told about a film titled ‘Thinking of him’ from Argentina which is a love-story of Rabindranath Tagore and his poetry. Supreme Court has decided to  take a review on the section 377 of the constitution which is against homosexuality. We the people should be aware of all these issues. Essay - Section 377

              SECTION 377               Section 377 of IPC i.e. Indian Penal Code dates back to 1861 which criminalizes sexual activities between same sex i.e. homosexuality. It states that whoever has sexual intercourse with any man, woman or animal which is against the order of nature shall be punished with imprisonment for life. Some people believe that homosexuality is against Indian culture, against nature and against science.                When the High Court of Delhi decriminalized it in 2009, the Supreme court gave a judgement that the  amending of section 377 should be left on the parliament and the judiciary should not interfere in it.         ‘SANSKARACHE MOTI MAHILANCHYA HATI’ Brahman Mahila Sanch: Speech by Aparna Ramtirthakar Aurangabad: A speech by social worker Aparna Ramtirthakar was held at Sant Eknath Rang Mandir, Cidco, Aurangabad. The programme was started by lightening the lamp. It was followed by welcome song and aim song. All the audience and the guests were dressed up in red colour. Felicitation of  Vijaya Kulkarni and Anagha Diwan(gynecologist) was done.                Bharti Chobe while giving her speech said “Lal chhadi Maidan khadi” addressing all the people wearing red dresses. It was followed by speech of Anil Paithankar and then Anagha Diwan. Anagha Diwan in her speech told about the Cervical Cancer which is caused by Human Papillomavirus(HPV) infection. She also told about Colposcopy which is test for detecting this cancer.           ...
