                               WOMEN’S DAY

                  Women’s Day is celebrated on 8th of March every year. There is a saying, ‘Behind every successful man there is a women’. Earlier it was seen that women had to face a lot of difficulties. She was not allowed to educate herself. She was not allowed to speak more and many such things. But nowadays we see many things changing. It was a huge struggle for her to come till here. Today we see girls educating themselves, reaching great heights, trying to explore themselves in each and every field and fighting for their rights. Women’s day is celebrated to celebrate her victory and to make the world realize her importance. The world has witnessed a significant change in the women’s and the society’s thoughts towards equality. But still we see a part of patriarchal society somewhere. Eg. They are given less wages than men. They are stopped from doing certain things by saying that they are meant only for men and a women has to do nothing with it such as girls are restricted of playing cricket. However improvements are made. Today we see many women becoming prime ministers, astronauts and what not. So we should make a difference and make every day a women’s day.
