True religion cannot be misused
TRUE RELIGION CANNOT BE MISUSED
Religion is a system of faith and worship. It
is a word meant to unite people. Religion is what we get entitled to right from
our birth and hence which gives us an identity. It promotes peace and harmony
among ourselves and others. All religions give the same message but in
different languages. All the religions preach to respect all other religions.
It nurtures our relationships with other people. It also promotes social
welfare.
But the word ‘religion’ which is
meant to unite the people is itself creating differences between people. It has
become a tool of common people, community groups and political parties. We can
see riots going on all over the world in the name of the religion. People are
developing the mindset that war is necessary to acquire peace and thus creating
violence but it should be meant only for self-defense.
There is a recent example of Bhima
Koregaon incident where people of two different religions were fighting in the
name of religion and creating violence. Several places of Mumbai like The Taj
Hotel, Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminal etc were attacked by some terrorists. They
thought that by doing this their god will send them to heaven. Afghanistan is a
country where a terrorist group Al Qaeda was formed which still uses religion
for personal cause.
People are relying on religion for
each and every thing and becoming irresponsible. They are not ready to accept
any changes in their norms. This is also resulting in many human and animal
sacrifices. People are doing many crimes in the name of religion. It is also
leading to the exploitation of people of certain religions. People are becoming
more and more superstitious and hence retarding scientific achievements. It is
leading to conflicts among various community groups.
Actions based on the name of
religion can be wrong but true religion is different. It only promotes peace
and respect towards other religions. Hence true religion cannot be misused.
