            PLASTIC FREE WORLD


      
             As you go outside your home you will see plastic bags, packets, plastic bottles lying on roads, in drains etc. Plastic is a material that can be reshaped by applying heat and pressure. Millions of plastic products are manufactured each year throughout the world. The content that is used in making plastic is highly toxic and can create serious threat to the environment and living beings because it is a non- biodegradable material.

              Plastic factories produce a great amount of carbon- dioxide which leads to global warming. In addition these chemicals can leak in soil and groundwater and cause contamination which makes it impossible to grow plants. Plastics contain chemicals that cause damage to nervous system and immune system. The plastic is a danger to marine animals. Many animals die due to this when they eat it by mistake. When people set the plastic objects on fire they want to get rid off, it creates air pollution.  

               
            The plastic problems can be reduced by recycling it. Plastic bottles can be recycled. Polythene bags create major of the pollution, so jute or cloth bags can be used instead of them. Apart from this government need to take serious actions to stop plastic usage where alternatives are available.
